Back from the Road: Affiliate World Asia, Africa Games Week & App Promotion Summit Berlin

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Z2A Digital team! We attended three incredible conferences from Bangkok to Cape Town and a stop in Berlin. Each event offered unique perspectives, valuable connections, and insights.

Across these three conferences, one theme was clear: collaboration and innovation are the driving forces behind growth.

Affiliate World Asia: The Bangkok’s Buzz

In Bangkok, performance marketing takes center stage! Emmanuel, our VP of Operations, attended Affiliate World Asia 2024, getting himself into the affiliate and mobile marketing industries.

This conference brought together thought leaders in performance marketing, with discussions ranging from the latest MMP changes to evolving attribution models. Emmanuel had the chance to meet industry leaders from Tec-Do, News Break, Bidmatrix, Erinlabs, and Iconpeak. Together, they explored innovative strategies and solutions for tracking issues, budget shifts, and navigating the next wave of iOS updates.

The affiliate world is evolving, and collaboration is the way forward. Emmanuel’s conversations weren’t just about challenges and opportunities to redefine the future of performance marketing.

Africa Games Week: Gaming Culture in Cape Town

Dean’s trip to Africa Games Week brought curiosity into the growth of the gaming industry in Africa. Held in Cape Town, the event celebrated the diversity and creativity that make Africa’s gaming ecosystem so unique.

Key panels like "Breaking Borders: Unlocking Game Development Success in the Global South", featuring industry pioneers, and "How an Unconventional Perspective Changed How Games Are Made", offered interesting perspectives on global challenges and the need for innovative approaches in gaming.

Dean connected with people from ARGO, VCD Studio, and Atrybute to discuss the growth of the African gaming market. The conversations highlighted the market’s potential, fueled by diverse game development and the increasing demand for unique, localized content.

App Promotion Summit Berlin: Innovation in the German City

In Berlin, Deniz, our Senior Media Buyer, attended the App Promotion Summit, where the focus was all about pushing the boundaries of user acquisition.

Deniz met with players from Smadex, Stepstone Group, Appnext, Appier, P&G, and ShyftUp, engaging in conversations about the latest trends and challenges in-app marketing. Panels on creative strategies and data-driven campaigns resonated with our mission to revolutionize mobile user acquisition.

The summit also emphasized the importance of partnerships and innovative ad solutions, aligning perfectly with Z2A Digital’s goals for 2025 and beyond.
